1. Introduction
Welcome to Zytro (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Zytro mobile application (the “App”) on Android devices.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Scope
This policy applies only to the App and the services accessed through it. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or content that may be linked or referenced inside the App, which are governed by their own policies.
3. Information We Collect
We design the App to collect minimal personal information directly from you. Depending on how you use the App, the following may apply.
3.1 Information you provide voluntarily
If you email us (for example at zytroserver@icloud.com), we receive your email address, message content, and any information you choose to include.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and technical data: Such as device type, operating system version, app version, and language or locale preferences, as may be conveyed in standard network requests.
- App configuration and catalog data: The App contacts our servers to load configuration and product catalog information. Those requests may generate server logs (for example IP address, timestamps, and request paths) for security and operations.
- Local storage on your device: The App may store cached catalog and detail responses locally to improve performance and allow limited revisiting without immediate network access. Cached data remains on your device unless you clear it in Settings or through your device’s app storage controls.
3.3 Advertising (Google)
The App displays advertisements through Google Mobile Ads (including the Google Mobile Ads SDK and, where applicable, the User Messaging Platform for consent in certain regions). Google may collect and process information including advertising identifiers (where permitted), device information, app interaction data, approximate location derived from IP address, and other data described in Google’s policies.
For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You may adjust ad-related settings on your device where supported (for example advertising ID or personalized ads controls).
3.4 Clipboard
If you use features that copy text to the clipboard (for example copying our contact email in Settings), that operation occurs locally on your device. We do not receive the clipboard contents from that action unless you separately send information to us (for example by email).
4. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features;
- Improve reliability, performance, and user experience;
- Show and measure advertisements, and comply with legal obligations related to advertising where applicable;
- Respond when you contact us;
- Detect, prevent, or address technical issues, fraud, or abuse;
- Comply with applicable law.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Advertising partners may use data as described in their own policies for ad delivery and measurement.
5. Sharing of Information
We may share information with:
- Service providers who assist in hosting, operating, or analyzing the App or our backend services, subject to appropriate safeguards where applicable;
- Google and other advertising partners, as necessary to deliver ads and for related measurement and fraud prevention;
- Authorities if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users, us, or others.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you.
6. Legal Bases (EEA / UK / Switzerland)
Where laws such as the GDPR require a legal basis, we may rely on: performance of a contract or steps prior to contract; legitimate interests (for example securing and improving the App, subject to balancing tests); consent where required (including consent flows presented via Google’s tools where applicable); and legal obligation.
7. Data Retention
- Server logs: Retained only as long as necessary for security, operations, and legal compliance, unless a longer period is required by law.
- Support emails: Retained as needed to resolve your request and for a reasonable period for records.
- On-device cache: Controlled by the App and your device; you may clear it in-app or via Android app storage settings.
8. Security
We implement reasonable measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) or other permitted mechanisms.
11. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, to data portability, or to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise these rights, contact zytroserver@icloud.com. We may need to verify your request.
If the CCPA / CPRA (California) applies, California residents may have additional rights. Contact us at the same email address.
12. Third-Party Links
The App may reference or link to third-party content. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices; review their policies before providing information to them.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, except where your consent is required by law.
